.htaccess File
Another way to get rid of the server error 500 is to check your current .htaccess 몭le and make sure that it’s not corrupted. However, you can also just create a completely new one. Here’s what you need to do:
- 1. Open the File Manager and look for .htaccess in the public_html folder, then disable the 몭le by giving it a different name.
- 2. Once it’s disabled, create a new .htaccess 몭le.
- 3. Right-click on the new 몭le and select Edit.
- 4. Copy-paste the default WordPress .htaccess code into the new one.
- 5. Click Save, and that’s it. You now have a brand new .htaccess 몭le.
